At approximately the size of the continental United States, Brazil is a huge country with many different sights and attractions spread throughout the region. If you are interested in visiting more than one area, flying is the best option in order to avoid wasting precious time traveling overland.

The major airlines for domestic flights are Brazilian airlines Varig and TAM, and most flights either originate or connect through Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro. It is important to remember when making your travel plans that you will probably have to go through one of these cities before going on to your next destination. Note: Varig is currently going through financial problems and flies irregularly.

Airlines schedules and prices change frequently; please contact one of our AR Tourism travel professionals for current availability and pricing.

Take advantage of our Map of Brazil to view the locations of Brazil's most popular destinations.

The table below has flight times from Sao Paulo to the main destinations in Brazil.
